NGC5 Original Manufactured LV Switchgear is the brand new type test assembly crafted by CHINT. As the heart of low voltage power distribution system, NGC5 sets a new benchmark for reliability and efficiency.

Safe and Reliable

NGC5 has been thoroughly tested and certified, holding certifications like CE certification and TUV test report.

It has successfully passed a range of environmental and safety tests, including 200-hour salt mist test, 4500 meters high-altitude test, and internal arc fault test rated at 100kA for 1 second.

Furthermore, the main busbar system is fully enclosed within an isolated compartment, providing complete separation from other functional units and minimizing the possibility of internal faults.

Flexible & Versatile

Designed to adapt to various scenarios, NGC5 supports protection degrees ranging from IP30 to IP43, and offers compatibility with rated operating voltages of 400V, 415V, 480V, and 690V.

NGC5 rated current can be up to 6300A with a flexible busbar design and is suitable for both 50Hz and 60Hz power frequency applications.

NGC5 also provides various panel schemes, including Fixed panel, Fixed separation panel, Drawer panel, APFC panel, etc.

These features make NGC5 highly adaptable to various regional standards and specific segment requirements.

Efficient & Cost-effective

With its modular structure and factory pre-assembly, NGC5 helps reduce on-site installation time and labor costs. With a stable and consistent supply chain, the lead time can be shortened within 2 months.

NGC5 Original Manufactured LV Switchgear plays a vital role across a wide range of scenarios. Typical applications as below:

  • Building: ensure safe and efficient power distribution in office buildings and shopping malls alike.
  • Industrial Park: provide reliable power management for manufacturing plants and heavy machinery.
  • Transportation: support the control and distribution of power for signaling, lighting, and station systems.
  • Data Center: maintain stable and uninterrupted power supply to sensitive IT equipment.

As an original manufactured LV Switchgear, NGC5 is manufactured in CHINT's own factories. CHINT's integrated power distribution industry is centered on its Jiaxing factory. Jiaxing factory mainly focuses on manufacturing of advanced low-voltage and medium-voltage intelligent integrated power distribution panels. It began construction in October 2019, covering a construction area of 72,000 square meters, and investing in 1,136 sets of advanced digital production equipment.

NGC5 typical panel schemes as below:

Fixed panel scheme:

  • Mainly used as incoming panel, outgoing panel, tie panel.
  • The maximum main busbar current can be up to 6300A, and the rated short-time withstand current can be up to 100kA/1s.
  • The entry method can be top/bottom.

Fixed separation panel scheme:

  • The maximum current of the distribution busbar can be up to 3200A.
  • It has strict internal separation, which is safer for people.
  • The main busbar is uniformly arranged on the top of the switchgear, with a high degree of standardization.
  • The distribution busbar can be arranged in the front side and rear side of the panel, which is simple and convenient for installation and maintenance.

APFC panel scheme:

  • It can realize intelligent harmonic removal, dynamic reactive power compensation, and balanced three-phase load functions.
  • Modular design for easy commissioning and maintenance.
  • Exclusive cooling channel.

Drawer panel scheme:

  • It can achieve the compactness, diversity, and flexibility of panel solutions.
  • The minimum unit can be 8E/4 drawers, a single panel can be installed with a maximum of 36 units, the maximum distribution busbar current can be up to 1800A.
  • The configuration is flexible, can achieve front and rear maintenance, and can realize the mixed structure of drawers and fixed separation units.

NGC5—raises the bar with modular, standardized, and smart designs that deliver enhanced safety, efficiency, and flexibility. Get in touch with us today to learn more about our switchgear solutions.
