FAQs

What is the main function of the AX-5 Auxiliary Contact?

It provides remote ON/OFF signal indication when assembled with an NL1 RCCB, enabling system monitoring or interlocking in automated control setups

Can the AX-5 be used independently?

No. It is designed as an accessory module and functions only when attached to an NL1 Residual Current Circuit Breaker

What are the environmental limits for operation?

The AX-5 operates reliably between –35°C and +70°C and up to 95% relative humidity, making it suitable for varied indoor environments

How is the AX-5 installed?

Installation involves removing the left cover plate of the RCCB and clipping the AX-5 onto the DIN rail alongside the breaker, as illustrated in the assembly diagram (page P-063)

What ensures its long-term reliability?

It conforms to IEC 60947-5-1 standards, supports 10,000+ mechanical operations, and features high-quality contacts for consistent signal transmission under both AC and DC conditions
