OVT-X3 Overvoltage release

The OVT-X3 Overvoltage Release is designed to integrate with NXB-125 series circuit breakers, providing automatic protection against abnormal overvoltage conditions. Operating at AC 230V 50/60Hz, it detects voltage surges beyond the safe limit (280V ±5%) and triggers the breaker to disconnect the circuit. Compact, reliable, and easy to install on TH35-7.5 DIN rails, the OVT-X3 ensures enhanced safety for residential and commercial power distribution systems.

FAQs

What is the primary function of the OVT-X3 Overvoltage Release?

It safeguards connected equipment by automatically tripping the circuit breaker when the voltage exceeds 280V, preventing potential damage from power surges.

Which circuit breakers can the OVT-X3 be used with?

The OVT-X3 is designed for seamless integration with CHINT’s NXB-125 series circuit breakers, ensuring compatibility and reliable performance.

How is the OVT-X3 installed?

Simply remove the left cover of the NXB-125 breaker, attach the OVT-X3 module, and mount the assembly on a TH35-7.5 steel DIN rail.

What happens when an overvoltage occurs?

When the line voltage exceeds 280V ±5%, the OVT-X3 triggers the breaker to disconnect the circuit, protecting downstream equipment and ensuring system safety.

How long does the device last?

The OVT-X3 offers a mechanical and electrical lifespan of 4000 operations, ensuring durable and reliable overvoltage protection for long-term use.
