FAQs

What is the function of the OUVT-X3 Over/Under Voltage Release?

It protects electrical circuits from abnormal voltage fluctuations by tripping the connected circuit breaker when voltage exceeds or drops below safe thresholds.

Which circuit breakers are compatible with the OUVT-X3?

The OUVT-X3 is specifically designed for use with CHINT’s NXB-125 series circuit breakers.

What are the tripping thresholds for over- and under-voltage?

Trips when voltage drops to ≤35% of rated voltage (Ue) or exceeds 95%–105% of the over-voltage setting (280V).

Prevents breaker closing if voltage remains outside the safe operating window.

How is the OUVT-X3 installed?

Simply remove the left cover of the NXB-125 breaker, attach the OUVT-X3 module, and mount both on a TH35-7.5 DIN rail.

What is the expected service life of this device?

The OUVT-X3 ensures 4000 total operating cycles, including 500 for over-voltage trips, 500 for under-voltage trips, and 3000 for regular switching.
