Largest Microgrid Project in Turkey! CHINT Power's Solar-Plus-Storage System Powers Up Sanliurfa
Under the blazing sun, the photovoltaic panels gleam with a blue hue, while the batteries inside the 5MWh energy storage container operate efficiently. The Sanliurfa project is showcasing to the world China's technological approach to breakthroughs in energy transformation. This energy base, entirely planned and designed by CHINT Power, achieves a three-dimensional integration of photovoltaics, energy storage, and smart power distribution in Turkey.
The system adopts a two-stage string-type low-voltage coupling grid-forming energy storage solution, which separates DC conversion from grid-connected control, enabling more flexible and stable energy management. Two 1.2MW/2.5MWh energy storage systems are each equipped with six 200kW PCS units and six 417kWh battery clusters, ensuring large-capacity storage and high-efficiency output.
