On November 22, in the Qatar World Cup group match, the Saudi Arabia team, ranked 51 in the world, reversed and defeated the Argentina team, ranked third in the world, 2:1, being the most unexpected outcome of this World Cup.

Although the Saudi Arabia team failed to enter the second round, we also saw the great potential of Saudi football. In the field of electric energy, CHINT’s potential is also slowly released on the land of Saudi Arabia.

Recently, CHINT Global held a signing ceremony with Ajlan Bros Holding Group, a diversified international enterprise based in Saudi Arabia, announcing the establishment of a joint venture in Saudi Arabia to focus on the production of low, medium, and high-voltage electrical equipment and providing power solutions and services.

The establishment of the joint venture will meet Saudi Arabia’s demand for localized manufacturing of electrical products, make full use of both sides’ advantages in technology, scientific research, capital, and so on, accelerate the updating and iteration of electrical products, train more talents in the field of electrical energy for Saudi Arabia, and jointly achieve the strategic goal of improving localization of industrial manufacturing and energy transformation in Saudi Arabia’s “Vision 2030”.

CHINT’s business layout in Saudi Arabia has a long history. From the first circuit breaker entering the Saudi market in 2003 to winning the bid for the ECB project of the Saudi Electricity Authority in 2020, after 15 years of intensive cultivation, CHINT has become the main supplier of the Saudi Electricity Authority.

The establishment of the CHINT Dubai warehouse in September 2020 has increased the average logistics efficiency in 11 Middle East countries including Saudi Arabia by about 80%, providing customers with a more convenient and efficient logistics service experience.

In the more than 20 years since it developed the market for export trade in Saudi Arabia, CHINT has entered a new stage of developing subsidiary companies. The team has grown continuously and has a modern office environment. Saudi Arabia is the largest and most promising market in the Middle East.

Being optimistic about the development prospects of the Middle East market, CHINT will continue to deeply plow the traditional power, infrastructure markets, etc., and vigorously explore cooperation in comprehensive energy, intelligent manufacturing, digital transformation, etc, aiming to develop high-quality projects and help Saudi Arabia “Vision 2030” be steadily promoted.

CHINT embraces localization and global layout. We constantly build resource intelligence sharing and collaborative business platforms. It has four global R&D centers, 16 international marketing areas, and manufacturing bases in Wenzhou, Shanghai, Jiuquan, Jiaxing, Yancheng, Xianyang, Wuhan, Shenyang, and Jinan.

CHINT also achieves localized manufacturing in Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Egypt, Cambodia, Algeria, and other countries, working closely with local partners and continuing to achieve a stable global business growth.
