The 15th edition of the QualEnergia Forum, the national conference on energy efficiency and renewable energy sources, organized by Legambiente, Editoriale Nuova Ecologia, and Kyoto Club, in which CHINT Italia participated as a Gold Partner, has just ended.
This conference, which took on the character of a National Conference, is also patronized by the Ministry of Sustainable Infrastructure and Mobility, the Ministry of Ecological Transition, and the Lazio Region.
As a Gold Partner, CHINT Italia participated in the event with its own speaker, Eng. Iames Chiarello, Sales Engineer at CHINT Italia Investment, spoke in two sessions of the debate, bringing the company’s experience in photovoltaics and e-mobility.
In the session entitled “Renewables at the Speed of Light – Photovoltaics and Agri-voltaics”, under the expert guidance of RAI journalist Marco Frittella, a number of case histories of photovoltaic plants realized by CHINT in various parts of the world were presented, an excellent example of coexistence and harmonization between energy infrastructure and surrounding nature; In particular, attention was drawn to the largest fishery photovoltaic plant realized in Wenzhou, China, and received unanimous praise from experts and scholars on site.
This project is an innovative attempt at fishery and photovoltaics, the photovoltaic modules were positioned above some structures built in the sea, without affecting the fishiness of the area and interfering with the activities of fishermen.
The fish are sheltered from the wind and rain, and the sun exposure is reduced so that the temperature of the water area will not be too high. In addition, the annual power generation is expected to reach 650 million kWh, all of which will be connected to the grid.
Compared with thermal power with the same power generation, it can save about 235,000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 648,000 tons. This project realizes the unification of photovoltaics with economic, social and environmental benefits, fully improves the utilization rate of marine resources, and transports clean energy from the ocean to the city.
In the session dedicated to “Sustainable Mobility: Electric, Public and Two-Wheeler”, conducted by the Editor-in-Chief of QualEnergia magazine Sergio Ferraris, the focus was on the latest solutions for e-mobility and possible integrations with photovoltaic systems in the residential and commercial sector, a proposal on which CHINT Italia has been working for some years now.
In addition, numerous topics were addressed by Paolo Gentiloni, European Commissioner for the Economy, Vannia Gava, Deputy Minister for the Environment and Energy Security, and Nicola Lanzetta, CEO of Enel Italia: from European gas and renewable energy perspectives, wind, photovoltaic and agri-voltaic developments, energy communities and the circular economy, to sustainable mobility and the decarbonization of new air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
With the latest draft of the European Commission’s climate protection law, Italy’s local ECOBONUS, and PNRR plans have been introduced one after another, accelerating the sprint to the goal of carbon neutrality, and clarifying that by 2030, at least 40% of the power generation energy in the EU region will be renewable energy.
As a local total solution provider, CHINT Italy is already in place and will continue to work hard for the strategic goal of renewable energy development and smart green energy transformation in the Lazio region.
