On March 31, 2022, CHINT Global’s 15th overseas warehouse officially opened for business in Brazil, which is a new relay in the process of CHINT’s globalization.
Brazil is one of the farthest regional markets of CHINT Global. It is also the largest economic market in Latin America. As one of the five BRICS countries and a member of the G20, there is a huge market demand and large development potential.
POLO CENTRAL LOGISTICA LTDA
CHINT has been deeply exploring the Brazilian market for many years with its market expansion. To meet further customer needs, timely responses to customers, and get close to customers, CHINT officially set up a local warehouse in Brazil, the first warehouse in South America.
The overseas warehouse covers an area of 2,000 square meters and is located in Sao Paulo, the largest city and the largest industrial center in Brazil. The warehouse is nearby Guarulhos International Airport, the largest airport in Brazil, and Santos Port, the largest port in Latin America, covering the southeastern part of Brazil and the distribution network with major cities.
Since established in 2010, CHINT Brazil has vigorously promoted the construction of primary and secondary distribution channels and actively expanded industry customers. At present, it has covered key industry customers represented by data centers, buildings, power generators, mining, and new energy in the local area.
However, as a manufacturing and industrial center in Latin America, the competition in Brazil’s local market is also extremely fierce and the supply of products and solutions is highly dependent on localization.
To quickly respond to customer needs and improve service satisfaction, CHINT Brazil’s overseas warehouses came into being, which shortened the delivery cycle and greatly promoted the increment of local dealers, the breakthrough of industrial customers, and the growth of overall sales.
As an industrial center and manufacturing center in South America, Brazil’s low-voltage electrical appliance market has a capacity of about US $6 billion and is expected to maintain high speed compound annual growth in the next five years.
The establishment of the CHINT Brazil warehouse will further empower local subsidiaries to build a whole industry chain platform, gradually move forward the functions of sales support, technology research and development, warehousing and distribution, after-sales operation and maintenance, local manufacturing, and so on, and respond to and implement CHINT’s “customer-centered” service purpose.
