The 15th Round Table Forum of Chinese Boards of Listed Company concluded in Nanjing on Dec. 21. As one of the participating enterprises, CHINT Electrics was honored as the Round Table "Best Board of Directors" for its stable shareholder returns, excellent corporate governance and forward-looking strategic decisions.
Hosted by the Directors & Boards, the annual Round Table Forum and "Gold Prize of Round Table" of Chinese Boards of Listed Companies is a top public welfare event in the field of corporate governance in China. Known as the first prize of Chinese boards of listed companies, the "Gold Prize of Round Table" selects 15 companies from more than 3,700 A-share listed companies. It is an important evaluation benchmark for the governance level of China's listed companies. This time, CHINT Electrics was awarded the honor with China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC), China National Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. (CNNP) and China State Construction (CSCEC), which fully reflects the industry experts and the society's recognition of the company.
In 2019, the board of directors and management of CHINT Electrics closely focused on the business objectives and conducted scientific research to overcome difficulties, work hard and make active decisions. It innovated the business model and marketing model and established a system for product R&D and technical innovation based on market demand. By implementing strategies on customer-centered, strategic objectives and market demand oriented, CHINT Electrics has made steady progress and has worked hard to promote the reform of intelligent manufacturing and management, and effectively promote promoted the annual objectives and key tasks. The data showed that China's GDP growth slowed in the first three quarters of 2019 and the macro economy was under pressure, but it was still growing at a high rate globally. Nevertheless, in the third quarter of 2019, CHINT Electrics achieved 17.62% of high-speed growth. Among them, the net profit attributable to shareholders reached 2.864 billion yuan, yielding 2.65% increase year on year and 20.46% increase excluding the impact of the sale of a PV station on net income in the year-earlier period. CHINT Electrics remained high growth of revenue and profit.
In the future, CHINT Electrics will continue to promote the improvement of scientific decision-making and standard operation level of listed companies to achieve consolidated and steady development. Meanwhile, it will make use of the capital market to strengthen and expand, actively improve the investment value of listed companies, to bring better returns for shareholders.
