CHINT and Shanghai Baoye Reached Strategic Cooperation

CHINT Global and Shanghai Baoye signed a strategic cooperation agreement, and started a dialogue around the fields of electric power, new energy, housing construction and industry in the global region, exchanged cooperation opportunities in-depth, and explored a new prospect of sea business.

Lily Zhang, Director of CHINT Group and President of CHINT Global; Li Peng, Deputy Chief Engineer of Shanghai Baoye Group, Party Secretary and Executive Director of Yejin, attended and witnessed the signing ceremony.

Thomas Cheng, Vice President of CHINT Global, and Yingbo Zhang, Deputy General Manager of Yejin and Manager of Indonesian Branch, signed a strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties. The two sides held in-depth exchanges on strategic cooperation of complementary resources and jointly promoting high-quality development, and indicated that they would give full play to their respective experiences and advantages in finance, technology and management to achieve mutual benefit and low-carbon development.

This cooperation is based on the profound insight and strategic consensus of the two sides about market trends in the future, and aims to explore further cooperation opportunities through in-depth interaction and resource sharing.

Lily Zhang said: “CHINT will fully support Baoye’s strategic development with its global layout capability and project execution, especially its pioneering exploration in overseas markets. The cooperation between the two sides is not only based on business, but also a high degree of agreement between the two sides’ common vision and values, which indicates that the two sides will fight side by side on the global stage to jointly face energy challenges and lead industry changes.”

Shanghai Baoye covers the whole industrial chain of R&D, design, production and construction, and its services cover the whole life cycle of investment, financing, construction and operation. It is an advanced collective of state-level high-tech enterprises, and has undertaken a series of national key strategic and landmark projects.

And Yejin as a subsidiary of Baoye, it has business and markets globally, building a marketing area that radiates across the countries along the Belt and Road, focusing on metallurgical engineering, actively developing environmental protection industries, innovating traditional industries and expanding emerging industries. As a world-renowned smart energy system solution provider, CHINT has formed three major sectors of “green energy, smart electricity and smart low carbon”, with businesses in more than 140 countries and regions. The two sides have extensive cooperation space in related fields such as electricity, energy, investment and operation.
