The 21st Chinese Patent Award was released on Oct. 12 by the National Intellectual Property Administration, among which CHINT Meter won the excellence award of the Award with electricity meters. It is the first time to win the national award, which marks the company's significant progress in intellectual property protection and transformation.
This patent integrates power backup, intelligent switching, stable power supply, reliable storage and other technologies into one product, providing accurate, efficient and easy to operate solutions for smart electricity meter, avoiding the complains of poorreliability of power supply and distortion of power failure data. It has beenapplied in DTZY666 (C,-M,C-M), DDZY666 (C,-M,C-M), DSZY666 (C,-M,C-M) and other electric energy meter products developed by CHINT Meter in batch, which have been highly recognized by State Grid and China Southern Power Grid. Moreover, the complaint rate of power supply problems of patented products has been reduced to zero. It effectively solves the technical problem of poor powersupply reliability of the original smart electricity meters, effectively improves the power supply technical level of the smart electricity meters in China.
China Patent Award was established by the National Intellectual Property Administration in 1989, as the only national award in China that rewards inventions granted patent rights. With an international influence, it is recognized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The evaluation criteria not only emphasize the level of patent technology and innovation of the project, but also pay attention to its application in the process of market transformation, and also put forward higher requirements on its protection and management.
