Rank first for 5 consecutive years, CPS in Wood Mackenzie (GTM)

MAY 23, 2020

"Global solar PV and module-level power electronics inverter market share 2020" has been released by a test report of Wood Mackenzie (GTM), the international well-known power and renewable energy research institute. According to the report, the amount of shipment of CHINT POWER (CPS) 3-phase string inverters has ranked first for five consecutive years in the US market and took up 26% share in 2019, which has been kept for 5 years since 2015.

CPS entered the US market in 2011 with the goal of disrupting the "central inverter" norm at the time by creating 3-phase string inverters with leading edge features, performance and life-time service ability. We designed products optimized for the American users, supported locally by a customer-centric engineering, fulfillment and service team. This strategy is backed by the muscle and execution of the Asian R&D and Operations teams. "This recipe is working." says General Manager Ed Heacox.

Meanwhile, the PV inverter shipment of CPS ranked 16th globally last year, showing in the Wood Mackenzie report. Global PV inverter market has presented a new development in virtue of continuous proven technique and dynamic market. Influenced by more flexible in system design, lower loss infailure and lower life-cycle maintenance cost, CPS is also actively innovating to enhance its global market competitiveness and expand its market share in line with market demand.

Relying on and inheriting 35 years of professional power supply and power R&D and manufacturing experience of CHINT Group, CPS provides a complete industrial chain solution for PV systems of household, commercial and ground power stations. CPS has more than 13GW of PV installations and more than 10MWh of ESS installations, covering 25 countries worldwide. In the future, CPS will continue to deeply cultivate the market, provide more high-quality products and services for global customers, and build more benchmark projects with local customers to help entering the era of PV parity grid access.
