The CHINT JDM3 Counting Relay is a compact, high-precision electronic counter designed for accurate counting operations in electrical and automation systems. Powered by a long-life lithium battery (≈6 years), it offers 6-digit or 8-digit LCD display options and supports AC/DC or contact input types. With selectable counting speeds of 10 times/s or 200 times/s, the JDM3 delivers reliable performance in production automation, control panels, and monitoring systems.

What is the purpose of the JDM3 Counting Relay?

It counts input pulses or contact closures to track events or quantities in automation, manufacturing, or process control systems.

 

What are the available counting speeds?

The JDM3 supports low speed (10 counts/s) and high speed (200 counts/s), suitable for both slow mechanical and fast electronic applications.

 

Does the JDM3 require an external power source?

No. It uses an internal lithium battery with a life of about 6 years under standard operating conditions.

 

How can I reset the count?

You can reset it using the front panel button (6-digit version) or external terminal reset (available for both 6- and 8-digit models).

 

Where can it be used?

It’s ideal for machine counting, production control, packaging systems, and automatic process monitoring where precise counting is required.
