To fight against the epidemic, another hospital in Indonesia was launched recently. CHINT Indonesia worked closely with clients to ensure timely approval and on-time delivery of the products and provide assurance on the hospital’s safe and continuous operation.
In early June, Indonesia President Joko Widodo accompanied by SOE (State Owned Enterprise) Minister Erick Thohir and PT Pertamina President Director Nicke Widyawati inaugurate the Pertamina Covid-19 Emergency Response Hospital in Tanjung Duren, West Jakarta.
This hospital was built by Pertamina (Indonesian State-Owned Oil Company) with the initiative of the SOE (State Owned Enterprise) Ministry. PT. Wijaya Karya Bangunan Gedung., Tbk is the main contractors for this hospital.
The hospital construction process has been running since the beginning of July 9, 2021, with the scope of work includes structure, architecture, landscape, and MEP, including specialist MEP for bedheads and negative pressure. In total, the whole construction from beginning until the inauguration took less than 1 month.
During this difficult time, CHINT Indonesia was working closely with all the stakeholders and decision-makers to ensure timely approval and on-time delivery of the products. As we know, Indonesia was hardly hit by the Covid-19 at the end of June 2020. All the hospitals were working at full capacity and many patients were having a hard time getting proper care.
In this one month, regardless of the risks imposed by the epidemics, everybody from the sales, engineering, and logistics departments worked tirelessly around the clock with the main focus to ensure the hospital’s safe and continuous operation.
