CHINT Global has successfully signed a contract with ECOTEC University in Ecuador to provide 1MW complete sets of photovoltaic equipment, including photovoltaic panels, inverters, communication modules, bracket, etc. ECOTEC University is one of the most famous private universities in Guayaquil, the largest city in Ecuador. It is a comprehensive university of science and engineering, and also the first university in Ecuadorto use new energy for power supply on a large scale. This is the first cooperation between CHINT Global and ECOTEC University, and it expressed their confidence and expectation for the future cooperation with CHINT.
Rich in local light resources, Ecuador photovoltaic industry has a bright future with favorable electricity policy that the maximum installed capacity of each meteris 1MW with the plan to increase to 8MW within 3-5 years. Under the epidemic situation, CHINT Global Latin America team insisted on the sprits of market-oriented and customer-oriented, and made great efforts to complete the first step of photovoltaic market exploration in Ecuador.
