CHINT Continues to Promote Digitalization with EPLAN

EPLAN, as a pioneer in the era of electrical computer aided design, has been a global iconic enterprise providing intelligent software solutions and professional services for the fields of electrical planning, engineering design and project management. Some people even assert that it is an inevitable trend for EPLAN to replace CAD in electrical design when the requirements for electrical design efficiency are getting higher and higher.

CHINT has completed the data update from 2D to 3D of 17000 (including Noark) low-voltage components (including power distribution, terminal, industrial control and other products) in EPLAN software database in January 2021. It can be used in all series of EPLAN software, including electrical design of EPLAN P8 and 3D cabinet design of EPLAN Pro Panel.

3D Design of Cabinet -- Digital Preparation

Through the import of CHINT components 3D model files, customers can use CHINT components in the whole series of EPLAN software to easily plan the overall layout of the cabinet. At the same time, this update adds the connection point patterns of CHINT components, which can realize automatic connection between electrical components and automatic numbering of equipment, greatly saving design time, improving design efficiency and reducing project cost from the beginning of design.

Electrical Design——the Future Planning of Industrial Automation

For all kinds of customers of CHINT in various countries, EPLAN can be used for electrical design or cabinet 3D structure design, because EPLAN provides standard templates, supports different electrical standards, such as IEC, JIC, DIN, and has standard symbol library. With the help of the standard template provided by EPLAN, various charts can be generated automatically. For similar projects, as long as you modify some relevant project data, such as project name, project number, user name, etc., a new project drawing can be generated, avoiding repeated modification of the project and greatly saving customer time.

Digital transformation is an important driving force for the enterprise quality development, and it has become the consensus of all walks of life.
