CHINT is proud to announce our participation at Intersolar South America 2023, South America’s largest solar industry exhibition and conference. From August 29th to 31st (UTC-3) at the Norte Convention Center in São Paulo, over 450 photovoltaic solution providers gathered and showcased their latest products and technologies.
CHINT’s new energy storage products and power station solutions were a highlight at this immensely influential environmental energy exhibition, drawing the attention of numerous industry clients.
As renewable energy advances rapidly around the globe, the Latin American region has emerged as one of the most promising photovoltaic markets. Photovoltaic power generation has become Brazil’s second-largest source of electricity generation, following hydropower.
According to Brazil’s Energy Research Office EPE’s “Ten-Year Energy Expansion Plan” (2030 edition), by 2030, Brazil’s total installed capacity will reach around 224.3 GW, with over 50% of the new capacity coming from renewable energy sources.
Among them, photovoltaics will experience the highest growth and fastest expansion. According to EPE’s projections, Brazil’s cumulative photovoltaic installed capacity will reach 20.4 GW by 2029.
During this exhibition, the CHINT team showcased new products based on large-size silicon wafers, leading the industry into a new era of 600W+ power modules. They also presented low-voltage components for photovoltaic DC1500V and AC800V applications, as well as DC/AC combiner box products assembled and produced in Brazil.
