V9 (Under Voltage Release for NB1, NBH8, NB1L, NBH8LE)

The V9 Under Voltage Release, compatible with NB1, NBH8, NB1L, and NBH8LE series, is designed to protect electrical loads in the event of a voltage drop, operating effectively when voltage falls between 70% and 35% of its rated value. It features a positive safety mechanism, ensuring that the device trips automatically when voltage is lost—enabling emergency stop control through a push-button. The V9 is conveniently mounted on the left side of MCBs or RCBOs using a dedicated pin connection for quick and secure installation.

FAQs

What is the primary purpose of the V9 Undervoltage Release?

It protects electrical loads by automatically tripping the connected breaker when voltage drops below a critical threshold, preventing damage and unsafe operation.

What circuit breakers are compatible with the V9?

The V9 is specifically designed for CHINT’s NB1, NBH8, NB1L, and NBH8LE series, ensuring perfect fit and consistent performance.

How does the V9 respond to voltage variations?

When voltage falls below 35% of rated voltage (Ue), it prevents breaker closure; between 35%–70%, it triggers a trip, and between 85%–110%, it allows reliable operation.

How is the V9 installed?

It mounts on the left side of the circuit breaker via a special pin connection, ensuring simple installation without wiring modifications.

What is the V9’s operational lifespan?

It provides a long service life of over 4000 mechanical and electrical operations, making it a dependable accessory for long-term use.
