The NH40 Series Switch Disconnector is designed for AC 50Hz systems up to 690V, with rated currents up to 3150A, providing reliable circuit disconnection and isolation in industrial power distribution. It’s used to connect, disconnect, and isolate power circuits in low-voltage distribution systems and industrial panels. Rated up to 3150A, it’s suitable for frequent manual operation and safe maintenance isolation.

 

How is the NH40 different from a circuit breaker?

Unlike a circuit breaker, the NH40 does not automatically trip. It’s a manual isolating device designed for disconnection under load or maintenance, ensuring visible circuit isolation.

 

What mounting and handle options are available?

The NH40 can be installed inside or outside the switchgear cabinet, with central or side handles and optional external rotary handles for flexible operation.

 

Can the NH40 be used in motor circuits?

Yes, it supports AC-23A utilization category, making it suitable for motor loads where reliable disconnection and load isolation are needed.
