In 2025, CHINT Group accelerated its journey toward a zero-carbon future by fully implementing its 2030 Sustainable Development Strategy. Guided by a philosophy of long-termism and co-creation, CHINT has integrated green principles into every aspect of its operations—from strategic planning to scientific decarbonization and supply chain empowerment—delivering replicable, sustainable solutions to the global industry.
I. Strategic Vision: A New Blueprint for 2030
At the start of 2025, CHINT officially launched the CHINT Group 2030 Sustainable Development Strategy, introducing its innovative "EMPOWER" Sustainable Development Strategy Model. This framework is designed to align business growth with environmental stewardship, empowering customers, the industry, and the wider ecosystem.
To turn this vision into action, CHINT has focused on four strategic pillars: Addressing Climate Change, Sustainable Product Management, Sustainable Supply Chain Management, and Promoting the Circular Economy. Through cross-industry collaboration among its six major subsidiaries, the Group has defined clear implementation pathways to drive these strategies forward
II. Decarbonization and Value Chain Empowerment
- Validating Science-Based Targets CHINT Electrics and Astronergy have successfully received validation from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Both subsidiaries have set clear emission reduction targets for Scopes 1 and 2 and incorporated Scope 3 value chain emissions into their roadmap, leading the industry in collaborative decarbonization.
- Empowering a Green Supply Chain Moving beyond simple compliance, CHINT is building capacity across its supply chain. As a key initiator of the ESG rating platform for Chinese suppliers, CHINT has encouraged core partners to conduct carbon inventories and sign reduction commitments, fostering a transition toward shared green capabilities.
- Digitalizing Carbon Management Leveraging the "Digital CHINT" infrastructure, the Group has deployed a comprehensive Carbon Management Platform. This system enables real-time monitoring and intelligent control of energy consumption and carbon emissions, ensuring that emission data is traceable, manageable, and actionable.
III. Building Trust through Transparent Disclosure
CHINT remains committed to high standards of transparency through a robust ESG reporting network:
- Legacy of Disclosure: CHINT Electrics released its ESG report for the 12th consecutive year, while CHINT Electric published its Sustainability Report for the 14th year.
- Expanding Scope: Subsidiaries NOARK and CHINT Instrument & Meter released their inaugural reports, marking a significant expansion of ESG management across the Group.
- Global Engagement: Throughout the year, CHINT completed over 245 sustainability questionnaires and project support documents and proactively submitted its Communication on Progress to the UN Global Compact (UNGC)

VI. Empowering Clients with Green Energy Solutions
A highlight of the year was the release of the Green Energy Solutions White Paper, jointly produced with the SJTU ESG Institute. The report details CHINT’s integrated technical pathways centered on four core areas: Green Energy, Smart Grid, Load Reduction, and New Storage.
The White Paper showcases benchmark projects—such as the Yueqing Sensor Industrial Park and the Changsha China State Construction International Wisdom Valley Regional Energy Station—providing the industrial, construction, and transportation sectors with replicable models for zero-carbon transition. By co-creating with customers, CHINT is actively translating these green solutions into tangible sustainable growth.
