Launched in January 2024, this project has spanned two years, embodying the wisdom and dedicated efforts of multiple departments. From optimized design and enhanced manufacturing processes, to pre-testing at Xi’an High Voltage Apparatus Research Institute, careful planning of the KEMA test program, on-site test support by our R&D team, and efficient sample shipment by our logistics team – all departments worked closely together to overcome challenges.
In the end, we successfully obtained the KEMA type test report. Thanks to our outstanding one-pass performance, the project team is now in active discussions with KEMA to secure its top-tier Golden Certificate. This certification fills our company’s technical gap in capacitor products for the 60Hz market, laying a solid foundation for prequalification in key overseas T&D markets for backbone power grids.
145kV GIS Passes C2-Class Back-to-Back Capacitor Bank Switching Type Test
CHINT 145kV GIS has successfully completed the C2-class back-to-back capacitor bank switching type test — the highest performance level for this application. Under test conditions of 60Hz & 400A, all performance indicators met and exceeded relevant standard requirements.
