CHINT donates 6 million yuan to fight against the Typhoon Lekima

OCT 8, 2019

Unity is strength in fighting against the disaster. Lekima, the 9th super typhoon of this year, hit and affected many areas in Zhejiang Province. At present, disaster relief work is under way. On August 12, the Commonweai Foundation of CHINT denated 6 million yuan to the areas affected by the typhoon in Wenzhou to help the people in the disaster areas resume production, build up confidence and rebuild their homes.

CHINT started in Wenzhou, where all the conditions affected the hearts of all CHINT people. After the disaster, Chairman Nan convened the leader group and party committee members to hold an emergency meeting overnight to discuss the aid plan. "We feel very sorry for such a serious disaster in our hometown. As an enterprise, we should do our best to support the post-disaster reconstruction, and fight together with the affected people through difficulties!"

After the invasion of Lekima, CHINT immediately called for the party members, volunteers, and key staff to provide in-depth support. On the morning of August 11, more than 10 breakdown vans of CHINT rushed to the disaster area to deliver mineral water, instant noodles, bread and other living materials to the camp residents in Dajing, Zhiren and Xianxi. On the same day, the main militia of CHINT carried out post-disaster cleanup of sludge, branches, household garbage in two main roads in Dajing. On the afternoon of August 12, volunteers from CHINT went to Dajing to provide voluntary service to the disaster area.
