AL-X3 Alarm contact

The CHINT AL-X3 Alarm Contact is an auxiliary signaling device designed for use with NXB-125 series circuit breakers. It provides remote indication of circuit breaker status (ON/OFF/trip) to improve monitoring and safety in electrical systems. When integrated, it signals whether the breaker is manually opened or tripped due to a fault. Built to IEC 60947-5-1 standards, the AL-X3 offers a 10,000-cycle lifespan, high contact reliability, and compact modular design for easy DIN-rail installation.

FAQs

What is the purpose of the AL-X3 Alarm Contact?

It provides remote indication of circuit breaker status (manual open, close, or trip), enabling fault alarms or status monitoring in electrical panels.

Which circuit breakers is it compatible with?

The AL-X3 is designed for use with NXB-125 series circuit breakers, mounted directly to the side via the provided connector system.

How does the contact operate during faults?

If the breaker trips due to an electrical fault, terminals 91–92 open while 91–94 close, sending a clear alarm signal to external monitoring systems

What installation steps are required?

Remove the left cover of the NXB-125 breaker, attach the AL-X3 module, and mount the assembly on a TH35-7.5 DIN rail.

What is its durability and compliance standard?

The AL-X3 meets IEC 60947-5-1 standards and supports up to 10,000 mechanical cycles, ensuring reliable performance in long-term monitoring applications.
