FAQs

What is the function of the JKF8 Intelligent Low-Voltage Reactive Power Compensation Controller?

It manages and compensates reactive power in low-voltage networks, improving the power factor and reducing energy losses, thus increasing power system efficiency.

How does it protect the system from voltage instability?

If the network voltage drops below 300V or exceeds the preset over-voltage limit, the JKF8 automatically disconnects capacitors in steps within 5 seconds to prevent equipment damage.

What makes the JKF8 controller intelligent?

It features automatic polarity detection, self-testing, and real-time parameter monitoring, which reduce wiring errors, simplify commissioning, and improve accuracy.

Can it be used in automated capacitor panels?

Yes. The JKF8 supports cyclic automatic self-test and stepwise capacitor switching, making it ideal for automated reactive power compensation panels.

What environmental conditions are suitable for installation?

It operates safely between −10°C and +40°C, at ≤2000m altitude, in environments free from corrosive gases, explosive dust, or strong vibration.
