CHINT Successfully Delivers First EMS Project in Vietnam, Enabling Smart Energy Management at NTCT
CHINT has completed its first Energy Management System (EMS) demonstration project in Vietnam, upgrading the experimental building of Nha Trang College of Technology (NTCT) with intelligent low-voltage distribution and a comprehensive digital energy management system.
This milestone marks CHINT’s first EMS implementation in Vietnam, delivering intelligent low-voltage distribution and digital energy management to NTCT.
Integrated Smart Solution
At the hardware layer, approximately 50 smart MCBs and 8 gateway nodes were installed, enabling circuit-level monitoring and control.
Powered by the Empower X platform, the system supports minute-level sampling, long-term storage, real-time visualization, and intelligent alarm management.
Localized Deployment with Global Standards
After a cloud-based trial phase, the system was migrated to NTCT’s local server infrastructure, ensuring data sovereignty, operational independence, and long-term stability.
With built-in device auto-discovery capability, commissioning efficiency was significantly improved — each distribution panel required only 15 minutes for data integration.
From Pilot to Scalable Benchmark
As a demonstration project, this implementation validated:
- Platform reliability and data stability
- Localized deployment capability in overseas markets
- A standardized, replicable solution model for campus and small commercial buildings
NTCT leadership expressed strong satisfaction with the results and showed interest in expanding the solution to other campus buildings, further reinforcing its benchmark value.
