In June, CHINT Group and Alibaba Cloud have officially signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement. The two companies will establish a deep partnership based on mutual empowerment, focusing on three core areas: Artificial Intelligence (AI) large models, cloud and data center infrastructure, and joint global market expansion. This collaboration aims to accelerate the integration and development of smart energy and AI technology.
Strengthening Industry-Tech Synergy
At the signing ceremony, Nan Junyu, Director of CHINT Group, and Gao Fei, Vice President of the Public Cloud Business Unit at Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Group, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.
The milestone event was witnessed by key leadership from both organizations, including Liu Weiguang, Senior Vice President of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Group; Wang Zhaoyang, General Manager of Data Centers at Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Group; Luan Guangfu, Rotating President of CHINT Group; and Li Naihu, President of the CHINT Research Institute.

Under the framework of this strategic partnership, the two industry leaders will combine their strengths to drive innovation across multiple sectors:
- Next-Generation Infrastructure for Data Centers: Leveraging its end-to-end expertise in power supply and distribution, CHINT will provide Alibaba Cloud's domestic and international data centers with next-generation infrastructure, alongside high-, medium-, and low-voltage power distribution systems. With global manufacturing bases and localized service networks, CHINT ensures highly efficient project delivery and service support.
- Green Energy & Carbon Neutrality: Capitalizing on CHINT's extensive experience in photovoltaics (PV) and energy storage, the company will deliver clean, efficient, and reliable green power to support Alibaba Cloud’s global computing network. Both companies will explore diversified solutions, such as green power trading driven by "computing-electricity synergy," to continuously advance carbon neutrality for data centers.
- AI-Driven Industrial Upgrades: Alibaba Cloud will provide CHINT with stable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure and its advanced Qwen large model capabilities. This will empower CHINT to build industry-specific large models and AI agents across intelligent electrical solutions, green energy, and smart home sectors. The integration will accelerate AI applications in electrical product R&D, supply chain optimization, and PV power station operation and maintenance (O&M).
- Global Compliance & Cloud Services: Utilizing Alibaba Cloud’s robust global infrastructure—which operates across 32 regions and 105 availability zones—and its extensive international compliance expertise, Alibaba Cloud will serve as a foundational infrastructure provider for CHINT's overseas operations. This ensures secure global cloud services and compliance compliance for CHINT's international smart energy and intelligent electrical projects.
