UVT-X1 Under-voltage Release

The UVT-X1 Under-voltage Release is an intelligent accessory designed to provide voltage protection for NXB-63 and NXB-40 circuit breakers. It automatically trips the breaker when the voltage drops below a safe level and prevents reclosing until the voltage is restored. Operating at AC 240V and offering a rated insulation voltage of 500V, the UVT-X1 ensures reliable system safety in residential, commercial, and industrial installations. Its compact DIN-rail design allows for quick assembly and easy maintenance.

FAQs

What is the purpose of the UVT-X1 Under-voltage Release?

It protects circuits by automatically tripping the circuit breaker when supply voltage drops below safe operational limits, preventing equipment damage or malfunction due to undervoltage conditions.

Which circuit breakers are compatible with UVT-X1?

The UVT-X1 is compatible with CHINT NXB-63 and NXB-40 miniature circuit breakers, allowing direct integration without additional wiring modifications.

How is the UVT-X1 installed?

Remove the left cover of the circuit breaker, attach the UVT-X1 module, and mount the assembly on a TH35-7.5 DIN steel rail. The compact design allows for quick setup and easy inspection.

How does the UVT-X1 operate under voltage fluctuations?

When voltage drops below 35% of rated value, it prevents breaker closure; between 35–70%, it trips the breaker; and when voltage exceeds 85%, it allows reconnection, maintaining stable operation.

What is the expected lifespan of the UVT-X1?

The unit is designed for ≥4000 operational cycles, ensuring long-term reliability even in environments with frequent voltage variations.
