FAQs

What is the function of the SHT-X3 Shunt Release?

The SHT-X3 provides remote tripping capability for NXB-125 circuit breakers. When voltage is applied, it releases the mechanism, causing the breaker to trip and safely disconnect the circuit.

How does the SHT-X3 indicate its operational status?

When open, terminals C2–12 are connected to light the security indicator; when closed, terminals C2–14 light the warning indicator. Upon tripping, the trip indicator visibly marks breaker status.

What voltages can the SHT-X3 operate under?

It supports AC 400V, 230V, and AC/DC 48V or 24V, functioning reliably within 70%–110% of its rated supply voltage.

How is the SHT-X3 installed?

It easily assembles on the left side of the NXB-125 breaker, then mounts on a TH35-7.5 DIN rail.

What makes the SHT-X3 suitable for industrial and automation systems?

Its remote control capability, long mechanical life (≥4000 cycles), and compatibility with control indicators make it ideal for automated monitoring and protective control systems.
