CHINT x State Grid Shandong Boosting PV with Smart Solutions

In the era of intelligent transformation and upgrading of the power system, Shandong Province, with the largest volume of distributed photovoltaics in China, is facing the urgent need to deeply study the monitoring and safe access technology of low-voltage distributed photovoltaics and effectively improve the grid's distributed photovoltaic absorption, balance regulation, and safe carrying capacity.

According to the customer's requirements, CHINT has made highly efficient adjustments and upgrades to its products. It has customized and developed key grid-connection point components with remote control and status feedback functions. Surprisingly, it only took three months from product research and development to obtaining the qualification report for project implementation.

The application of the low-voltage distributed photovoltaic system has made the grid-connection status, operating parameters, power quality, and electricity safety controllable and observable. It has enhanced the stability and reliability of the power grid, ensuring the power quality for users. The on-site operation and maintenance costs have been significantly reduced, and the space for new energy absorption has been increased, leading to a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions.

Identified by the China Electricity Council, the low-voltage distributed photovoltaic system has reached the international leading level in the aspects of the controllability and observability of distributed photovoltaics and the arc simulation modeling and arc extinguishing technology of grid-connection circuit breakers. The customized product application projects have been vigorously promoted throughout Shandong Province, achieving remarkable economic and social benefits.

CHINT will continue to focus on technological innovation and customer needs, bringing CHINT's wisdom to the promotion and popularization of new energy. It will provide professional solutions for the intelligent transformation and upgrading of power systems across the country, contributing to the construction of new power systems and institutional building.
