Get SupportWhat is the main function of the NXL-63 RCCB?
It detects residual (earth-leakage) currents and disconnects the circuit to prevent electric shock or fire hazards, providing crucial protection without incorporating over-current protection.
Why is it called “without over-current protection”?
Unlike RCBOs, the NXL-63 only detects leakage current and does not respond to overloads or short circuits, ensuring pure residual current protection for systems already equipped with upstream MCBs or MCCBs.
What tripping types are available?
The NXL-63 is an AC-type RCCB, suitable for detecting alternating residual currents, ideal for standard residential and commercial installations.
What are its endurance and environmental capabilities?
It offers a mechanical life of 10,000 cycles and operates reliably between −5 °C and +40 °C with up to 90 % relative humidity at 20 °C.
Where is the NXL-63 best used?
It is ideal for residential, commercial, and small industrial systems, particularly in sub-distribution boards or as a supplementary leakage protection device alongside MCBs.
