On July 6th, Luís Roberto Barroso, President of the Supreme Court of Brazil, and his party visited CHINT for inspection and exchange with senior executives of CHINT on industrial cooperation and investment. José Gilberto Scandiucci Filho, Chief Advisor on International Relations of Brazil’s Supreme Court, Winston Alexander Silva, Deputy Consul General of Brazil’s Consulate General in Shanghai, Nonggen Duan, Director of China’s Supreme People’s Court International Cooperation Bureau, and Weimin Lu, Vice President of Shanghai High People’s Court, accompanied the visitors and participated in the discussion.

The digital economy, green economy, and emerging industries are becoming key growth engines. The competition features two main categories: Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and four tracks: Green Development, Technological Innovation, Intelligent Manufacturing, and Business Model Innovation. It is open to undergraduates, master’s, and PhD students from universities and research institutes worldwide, as well as young professionals working in innovative fields.

Luís Roberto Barroso, President of the Supreme Court of Brazil, and his party visited CHINT NOARK Exhibition Hall to learn more about the development history, core business, product advantages, global strategic layout of CHINT and so on. Luís Roberto Barroso expressed great interest in photovoltaic power generation and intelligent power distribution, mentioning his interest in equipping 92 courts in Brazil with photovoltaic power generation and intelligent distribution to help the zero-carbon court project land.

Zhiwu Xu, director and vice president of CHINT Group, Lily Zhang, director of CHINT Group and president of CHINT Global, Benjamin Nan, director and vice president of CHINT Electric, and the rotating president of the Group Research Institute, accompanied the visit and discussion. Zhiwu Xu also delivered a welcome speech.

Entrusted by Mr. Nan Cunhui, Chairman of CHINT Group, Zhiwu Xu welcomed Luís Roberto Barroso and his party, and introduced the development of CHINT. Zhiwu Xu said that in the process of globalization, CHINT has always been adhering to the role of becoming a global corporate compliance model and has always maintained close ties with the legal and compliance departments of major economies and multilateral financial institutions. We look forward to working closely with Brazil in the related fields of law and compliance in the future, and making CHINT a successful model for China enterprises in Brazil.

Luís Roberto Barroso positively affirmed CHINT’s achievements in globalization, legal compliance, and localization of Brazil. He said that he has been actively paying attention to environmental change and new energy industry, hoping to cooperate with more new energy innovation enterprises and make more contributions to environmental protection and sustainable development. There are many new energy sources to be developed in Brazil, such as wind energy and solar energy. Welcome enterprises with experience and technology in the field of new energy to come to Brazil for cooperation.

CHINT Brazilian Management Team, introduced the development of CHINT in the Brazilian market. CHINT was the first batch of China enterprises to enter Brazil, and further promoted the localization operation. In the future, CHINT will continue to increase investment in the Brazilian market, seek to move forward the production capacity, build intelligent clean energy factories in Brazil, create more jobs and help Brazil achieve sustainable development.

The Supreme Court of Brazil, Brazil’s Consulate General in Shanghai, the Supreme People’s Court of the People’s Republic of China, Shanghai High People’s Court, CHINT Group, and other relevant personnel participated in the discussion.
