On December 14th, the Transformer Manufacturing Department of CHINT Electric Co., Ltd. was awarded the ‘Satellite Program’ laboratory accreditation for power transmission and distribution products by Intertek Group (hereinafter referred to as Intertek).
The award ceremony took place in the high-voltage laboratory of CHINT Electric’s Transformer Manufacturing Department, where Mr. Xie Xiujie, Director of the Electronics and Electrical Business Unit of Intertek, presented the accreditation to Mr. Fang Shiming, General Manager of the Transformer Manufacturing Department.
The ‘Satellite Program’ is an initiative launched by Intertek that seamlessly integrates speed, flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and certification marks into a data recognition plan. Through this program, Intertek acknowledges the test data from high-quality customer internal laboratories and issues relevant test reports for them.
This helps manufacturers better control their product testing and certification processes, speeding up certification. The program has gained favor with many internationally renowned companies and has brought tangible benefits to a wide range of users.
The accreditation of CHINT Electric’s Transformer Manufacturing Department under the ‘Satellite Program’ signifies that its laboratory management level, testing capabilities, and testing accuracy have all been recognized by Intertek.
