FAQs

What is the NXZ Series Automatic Transfer Switching Equipment used for?

It automatically switches between two power sources—such as grid and generator—to maintain uninterrupted power for industrial, commercial, and residential loads.

What is the difference between the A-type and B-type controllers?

The A-type controller is the standard model with LED indicators, while the B-type controller adds LCD display, RS-485 communication, and advanced monitoring for remote or intelligent control.

Can NXZ operate between grid and generator sources?

Yes. It supports grid–grid and grid–generator modes with configurable automatic transfer and restoration settings via the controller.

How does NXZ ensure safe maintenance?

It includes a padlockable off-position, manual/electric selector switch, and mechanical interlocks to prevent accidental transfer during servicing.

Is the NXZ series suitable for high-altitude or harsh environments?

Yes. It is rated for operation up to 2000 m altitude and in temperatures from −25 °C to +70 °C (with compensation), meeting IEC 60068 environmental standards.
