FAQs

What is the purpose of the NB3LE-AFD device?

It protects electrical circuits from arc faults, short circuits, overloads, and earth leakage, helping to prevent fires and equipment damage in residential or commercial power systems.

How does the arc fault detection function work?

The NB3LE-AFD continuously monitors current waveforms for arc signatures. When dangerous series or parallel arc faults are detected, it disconnects the circuit to eliminate the fire risk.

What do the indicator lights mean?

Blue ON: Normal working

Blue/Red alternating: Series arc fault

Red flashing: Leakage fault

Blue flashing: Overvoltage

Red steady: Self-test failed

Where can the NB3LE-AFD be installed?

It is suitable for AC 230/240V distribution systems, typically in residential panels, offices, hotels, and industrial facilities requiring enhanced arc fault and leakage protection.

What certifications does it carry?

The NB3LE-AFD complies with BS EN 61009-1 and BS EN 62606 standards and is certified with CE, CB, and UKCA, ensuring international safety compliance.
