On April 13, with the strong support of the COMMONWEAI FOUNDATION OF CHINT, CHINT Egypt organized a donation event in conjunction with the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity and Al-OrmanCharity Association. The donation benefited more than 1,000 families in need in 40 underdeveloped areas in Egypt, and distributed 1,000 boxes of food and necessary living materials to them. All employees of CHINT Egypt participated in the preparation and distribution of the materials.
At the donation ceremony, the country manager of CHINT Egypt introduced CHINT’s development in Egypt in recent years. CHINT has taken root in the Egyptian market for more than ten years, making its local market share grow year by year, and it has gradually become a well-known international electric solution provider in the local market, with the business ranges from low-voltage components, household building switches to dry and oil-type transformers, medium-voltage self-contained cabinets, ring network cabinets, and solar modules. The services cover the entire field of power generation, transmission, power distribution, and electricity consumption.
While implementing various localization strategies, CHINT Egypt is also actively fulfilling its social responsibilities, providing more local jobs. Since 2019, CHINT Egypt has continued to donate to charities, universities and other institutions, helping more than 3,000 impoverished families and students. In the future, CHINT Egypt will continue to participate in philanthropy and contribute its strength to the vulnerable groups in Egypt.
The Egyptian side highly appreciated the friendship between China and Egypt. In the past 30 years, China and Egypt have achieved unprecedented achievements in cooperation in various fields. During the epidemic, the Chinese government provided Egypt with a large amount of anti-epidemic materials and vaccines to help ensure the safety of the Egyptian people.
