CHINT has been on the move in fighting against the pandemic. The situation in Africa remains serious, with data showing a total of 56,388 confirmed cases and 1,083 deaths in Nigeria as of 14 September. The epidemic is still spreading to all regions.
CHINT Nigeria staff are doing their best to prevent the epidemic, while they are also keeping an eye on the situation outside the country. EKO, Nigeria's largest power distribution company, is reported to be in short supply of prevention supplies. As it undertakes most of the country's power distribution network work, a large number of grass-roots employees are unable to achieve good protection in the process of daily power detection due to the lack of necessary protection. CHINT staff quickly donated 5,000 masks, hoping to protect power workers and do what we can for power construction in Nigeria.
At 10AM, Sept 16, CHINT staff delivered 5,000 masks to EKO. Mr. AIk, the leader of the EKO attended the donation activity and expressed his gratitude to CHINT for timely donation!
At present, China is actively sharing its experience in fighting the epidemic with the world, and supporting epidemic prevention materials to many countries. The country manager of CHINT Nigeria said that by donating anti-epidemic masks, CHINT hopes to make a contribution to help Nigeria win the battle against the epidemic at an early date.
