Climate action and carbon neutrality

• Zero Carbon Factory: CHINT Wenzhou Daqiao Industrial park was verified by experts from the international authoritative institution TUV SUD, it meets the dual certifications of PAS 2060:2014 and Zero Carbon Factory (5-star).

• Zero Carbon Declaration: Carbon neutrality in operations by 2028, net zero carbon emissions by 2035, and net zero across the value chain by 2050.

Released the "2025 Implementation Plan for Sustainable Clean Production and Zero-Carbon Factory Creation," setting company-level targets for total carbon emissions, clean production projects, and more.

Sustainable Product Innovations

• CHINT launched the first 500kV low-noise natural ester insulated oil reactor
• CHINT launched its new intelligent, low-carbon, and environmentally friendly gas-insulated switchgear, achieving zero use and zero emissions of SF6 gas. Awarded the 2024 Green Technology Innovation Typical Case Award.

*SF6, sulfur hexafluoride, is the main greenhouse gas in power equipment.

• Environment:Since 2017, CHINT automated production lines have reduced production defects by over 90% and cut operating costs by more than 57%.
• Social: Through automation, CHINT Wenzhou Component Manufacturing Dept. has eliminated over 1,400 repetitive labor positions, enabling employees to move into higher-value roles and improving workplace safety.
• Governance: With 100% CNC (computer numerical control) coverage in key processes, CHINT Wenzhou Component Manufacturing Dept. ensures consistent quality, production transparency, and operational efficiency.

1.U-NET Dual-Mode Communication: Combines PLC and Bluetooth Mesh for high-speed cross-phase transmission, enabling contactless O&M via smartphones.

2.Smart Fusion Terminal: Modular hardware + APP-based software, supporting multi-protocol access and advanced functions like load analysis.

3.DER Control Metering Box: Monitors grid connection & inverters with power control; 500K+ units deployed in residential PV.

4.Digital Twin Technology: Enables efficiency diagnosis, PV control, load management, and carbon emission monitoring.
