A new chapter begins. CHINT inaugurates its office in Colombia, located in the Pacific Business Tower, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and growth in the country. These modern facilities are not only a workspace, but a symbol of our vision: to connect talent, technology, and the future to drive the energy transition in the country.
With more than 25 billion dollars in annual revenues, 40 international subsidiaries, business coverage in 140 countries and more than 50 thousand employees worldwide, CHINT is one of the leading providers of comprehensive energy solutions that allow us to manage the entire electricity chain: from generation, storage, transmission, transformation and distribution to energy consumption, guaranteeing an optimal use of electricity.
Established in August 2024, CHINT Colombia is part of those 40 international subsidiaries that ensure a close attention to local and regional partners and customers, with communication and documentation in native language, facilitating the provision of a timely and permanent service in the country.
From foundation to expansion
The history of CHINT in Colombia goes back 20 years ago, with the sale of low voltage products through distribution channels by means of international purchases.
Subsequently, 10 years ago, CHINT high voltage products entered the country through one of the most important generation and distribution utilities in Colombia, especially with the supply of high voltage transformers, again through international purchases. Today, CHINT Colombia serves directly and in a timely manner to local partners and customers.
With the first steps of the local operation in 2022, our actions in the market were oriented to the positioning of the brand and our high and low voltage portfolios, characterized by sustainable and digital solutions. Thanks to the excellent performance of our human team, we achieved rapid growth and significant progress in the consolidation process of CHINT in Colombia. What started as a remote operation is today a subsidiary with full capacity to meet the demanding requirements of the market.

The choice of the Torre Empresarial Pacific as our new home was not accidental. Located in the heart of one of the most important business areas of Bogota, with a high presence of companies in the energy sector, this privileged location allows us to:
