The Phase 1 of Wenzhou Rail Transit Line S2, a key rail transit project in Zhejiang Province, serves as a crucial north-south transportation artery in Wenzhou. During its involvement in this project, CHINT gained a deep understanding of the key technical requirements of its electrical system and offered robust technical support for the project.
The key technical requirements mainly encompass: the linkage between the low-voltage switchgear and the central fire system to ensure a rapid response in emergencies; the unattended function of the distribution station, which demands that the low-voltage switchgear achieve remote operation and automation control; and the strict requirements for the safety, reliability, and efficiency of equipment in the traction substation of the urban rail.
As a full-industry chain solutions provider, CHINT developed a series of innovative solutions customized to the technical needs of the S2 Line, covering multiple key areas and creating a smart power distribution solution for urban rail transit. Shunt coils and 24V DC relays were incorporated into the low-voltage switchgear to achieve efficient linkage with the fire system; relays and RTU switch modules were added to enable remote operation and automation control. To meet the special requirements of the traction substation, CHINT provided a 110kV traction transformer, which possesses strong overload and short-circuit resistance capabilities and exhibits excellent performance in noise control, temperature rise control, and loss reduction. The 110KV GIS switchgear has also passed the comprehensive KEMA type tests in the Netherlands, and its numerous advantages make the system operation more reliable.
