China’s Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Nong Rong, alongside Chinese Ambassador Sun Haiyan, visited CHINT Global Asia-Pacific (APAC) Office and Innovation Lab on 21 April 2023 as part of his visit to Singapore from 19 to 21 April 2023. The visit highlighted the growing importance of smart energy solutions and sustainable development in China’s diplomatic endeavors.
Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Nong Rong and Ambassador Sun Haiyan were given a comprehensive tour of the innovation lab, gaining insights into CHINT Global’s products and solutions and trending segments such as data center and clean room.
The officials were accompanied by CHINT Global‘s executives who shared our commitments to Net Zero via smart city solutions including solar solutions, industrial control solutions and environmental and intelligent substation solutions, as well as products such as metering and modular din rail.
In addition, we also highlighted our collaboration with local authorities to realize renewable energies, adding on examples such as our partnership with Sembcorp Industries Ltd on the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project, the fastest in the world of its size to be deployed till date and largest project of its kind in Southeast Asia.
