The CJ40 series AC contactors are designed for AC 50Hz (or 60Hz) circuits with rated operating voltage up to 690V or 1140V. Ideal for frequent motor starting, stopping, and remote circuit control under AC-3 category at 400V (380V). When combined with a thermal overload relay, it functions as an electromagnetic starter.

It is designed for frequent remote making and breaking of AC circuits up to 1140 V, commonly used to control motors, power distribution, and heating systems.

 

What are the current and power ratings available?

The CJ40 series covers 63 A to 1000 A, supporting motor powers up to 600 kW at 1140 V, ensuring broad application flexibility. 

 

Does it have energy-saving capability?

Yes, models CJ40-63~500JZ and CJ40-630~1000J include 90 % energy-saving coils, reducing power consumption during operation.

 

What materials improve its performance and durability?

The silver-alloy double-break contacts and arc-resistant composite cover provide superior conductivity, heat dissipation, and longer service life. 

 

How is it installed?

The CJ40 mounts vertically using M6–M10 bolts on panels or enclosures, with an allowable tilt of ±5°, ensuring secure and stable performance in industrial setups.
