July 26, 2024, the 16th Annual Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in China, hosted by The Southern Weekend, was successfully concluded in Guangzhou. At the event, the 2023 China Corporate Social Responsibility Rankings was announced to recognize institutions, enterprises and individuals with outstanding performance in the development of ESG and CSR. With its outstanding performance in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), CHINT was ranked 13th on the 2023 China Corporate Social Responsibility Rankings and won the honour of “2023 Outstanding Responsible Enterprise”, highlighting its outstanding contributions in the field of social responsibility and sustainable development.
Southern Weekend has launched a survey on Corporate Social Responsibility in China Since 2003, and has been conducting it for 21 consecutive years. In terms of the evaluation indicators of the list, the comprehensive performance of corporate social responsibility continues to be evaluated from seven dimensions: Economy, CSR governance and management, Fair operation, Products and consumers, Employees and safety, Environment, Community and public welfare. And at the same time, observation indicators such as “Board/management remuneration linked to ESG”, “Technology ethics”, “DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion)”, and “CSR report verification” have been added.
All along, CHINT has taken social responsibility as the cornerstone of development, and has continuously promoted the digital transformation and green development process of the industry through a series of initiatives, such as actively building “Zero-carbon factories” and deepening ESG innovation. In the future, CHINT will continue to deepen the green and smart development path, lead the industry in low-carbon and efficient transformation through technological innovation, and contribute to global energy transformation and sustainable development.
