Intention to sell two PV stations of CHINT Solar Australia

OCT 8, 2019

CHINT Solar/Astronergy Australian branch signed an intention cooperation agreement with ReNu Energy to sell the two power station projects (single seat capacity 4.95MW AC) near Kadina and Bungama in south Australia.

Regarding the partnership, Craig Ricato, CEO of ReNu Energy said, "we are pleased to have the opportunity to acquire the two power plants of CHINT Solar/Astronergy and add 9MW of PV power plants to our portfolio. These programs provide us with an excellent opportunity to meet our 2019 business goals. CHINT Solar/Astronergy is a global leader in the PV industry and we are pleased to partner with them to develop quality renewable energy assets in Australia."

Lu Chuan, president of CHINTSolar/Astronergy pointed out that CHINT Solar/Astronergy is actively engaged in the PV industry. The successful sale of the proposed cooperation with ReNu Energy marks an important milestone for CHINT Solar/Astronergy in the Australian market. ReNu Energy is a very professional partner and we are pleased that our capabilities in project development, EPC services and reliable photovoltaic module products have been recognized by ReNu Energy. Now, the business scope of CHINT Solar/Astronergy has covered Australia, Europe, Asia, Africa and North America. We hope to have more investment in Australia in the future and explore more opportunities with partners.

In the Netherlands, Spain, Japan, Australia and other developed countries, CHINT Solar/Astronergy adopts BT mode to promote solar energy projects. In order to explore the Australian market, the Australian team was established in 2018.
