CHINT x Xiong’an Power Empower Smart City Development

In the surging wave of construction in Xiong’an New Area, the Xiong’an Jinhu Future City Project has attracted much attention as the first commercial project. It not only enjoys a superior geographical location, adjacent to the Xiong’an Citizen Service Center and the Xiong’an Business Service Center, but also undertakes the important task of building a high-end urban reception hall and a financial industrial park, facilitating the Rongdong Area to move towards a comprehensive functional area that is livable, workable, coordinated, integrated, green and intelligent. Developed by Hebei Construction & Investment Xiong’an Construction and Development Co., Ltd., the project covers a total area of 1,257,000 square meters, boasting a grand scale and profound significance.

As a leading enterprise in the industry, CHINT has been deeply involved in the Jinhu Future City Project, customizing a new low-voltage power distribution system solution that can access photovoltaic new energy for it. This innovative solution covers core products such as 10kV - 0.4kV intelligent low-voltage switchgear, household meter boxes, and power cabinets, demonstrating CHINT’s strong independent research and development capabilities. It is particularly worth mentioning that the NM3 series intelligent molded case circuit breaker developed by CHINT is custom-tailored and meets customer requirements, injecting a “smart brain” into the entire power distribution system.

Through the meticulous construction of CHINT, a power distribution system network with functions of full perception of equipment status, real-time monitoring, rapid response, fault warning, and remote control has been built. This network has fully incorporated 400V low-voltage power distribution equipment into the monitoring range, greatly enhancing the reliability of the power supply in Xiong’an New Area and ensuring a stable power supply in every corner of the future city.

The “Jinhu Future City Project” has been honored as the first batch of low-voltage intelligent circuit breaker pilot projects in Xiong’an New Area. CHINT is the first provider to achieve the landing and grid connection application of intelligent circuit breakers in Xiong’an. During this process, relying on the highly efficient teamwork, CHINT overcame numerous technical difficulties and achieved a major breakthrough, enabling low-voltage power distribution equipment to fully enter the era of intelligent monitoring. The intelligent circuit breakers developed by CHINT fully comply with local standards, providing valuable reference experience for the smart grid construction in Xiong’an New Area and even broader fields, and strongly promoting the accelerated transformation of the power grid towards intelligence, digitalization and platformization.
